Dr. Margolin is a seasoned health and clinical psychologist with more than 30 years of experience in private practice, specializing in cognitive psychology, mindfulness-based approaches, and the science of behavior change. She earned her PhD from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and holds a Master of Science and Education degree in Public Health, reflecting her long-standing commitment to whole-person health and prevention-focused care.

In addition to her traditional clinical training, Dr. Margolin has completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training and more than 500 hours of advanced education in therapeutic yoga. These tools are thoughtfully integrated into her work to support stress regulation, nervous system balance, and mindful awareness—key foundations for sustainable health behaviors. Her approach bridges evidence-based psychology with practical, embodied techniques that help individuals better understand and work with their stress response in daily life.

Dr. Margolin is licensed in both Illinois and California and now works exclusively in a non-clinical, educational role as a Consulting Psychologist in Behavioral Health Education. In this capacity, she provides psychoeducation focused on stress management, nervous system regulation, and behavior change to support overall health and well-being. Her work emphasizes behavioral education that supports nutritional adherence, lifestyle consistency, and the formation of health-related habits—skills that are essential for any long-term wellness journey.

She is deeply enthusiastic about working with individuals who are actively investing in their health and self-care, and she brings warmth, curiosity, and respect to every collaborative process. Dr. Margolin believes that meaningful change happens when people feel informed, supported, and empowered to understand their own patterns and capacities.

A big proponent of interdisciplinary collaboration, she is pleased to be working with her daughter, Celia Margolin, MS, RDN, a longevity-focused, plant-based dietitian and founder of the Cell to Strand Method. In this program, Dr. Margolin contributes the behavioral and psychological education component. Together, they support participants in aligning nutrition, lifestyle, and mindset to promote overall vitality and healthy hair growth from the inside out.
